What is the point of Furtive Chase in DBD? ›

Patch 7.3. 0. Rework: instead of reducing the Terror Radius mid-chase, Furtive Chase now grants the Undetectable and Haste Status Effects after hooking one's Obsession, while still retaining the Obsession-Switching effect.

Pallets and windows are vital in Dead by Daylight and can make or break a chase with a killer. With Windows of Opportunity, survivors can see all windows, pallets, and breakable windows 32 meters away.
