Job Title: Student Discipleship Minister
Ministry/Department: Eleven22 Students
Reports to: Central Ministries Pastor, Kids & Students
Status: Full-time, exempt

Objective
The goal of this position is to equip the saints for the work of ministry and the discipleship of the Eleven22 church family. This position will partner with the central student ministry team to resource and equip campus student ministers to effectively make disciples.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve effective next step processes that align with Eleven22 best practices to ensure spiritual growth and engagement within our student ministry
- Produce effective ministry tools and resources to support campuses in equipping both adult and student leaders
- Provide actionable data and insights to campus student ministers regarding next steps and campus engagement, empowering Student Ministers to effectively disciple and support the campus
- Come alongside Campus Student Ministers in connecting with guests in a timely manner by utilizing connection requests, analytics and other tools to foster engagement and follow-up
- Ensure accountability and alignment with the ministry\u2019s goals and objectives using actionable metrics
- Manage and oversee prison ministry efforts specifically targeting juvenile detention centers and women\u2019s facilities, ensuring impactful and supportive interactions
- Alongside campus student ministers, develop and equip student ministry connection teams at each campus
- Provide leadership to student leadership retreat(s)
- Oversee a part-time resident centrally
- Participate in the planning, development and implementation of all Eleven22 life and Eleven22 Student momentum events
- Other duties requested by the Central Ministries Pastor, Kids & Students

Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of student ministry experience, including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas preferred
- Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position, 40 hours per week, reporting to the Central Ministries Pastor, Kids & Students. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9am-5 pm, however, hours may vary based on weekend service responsibilities and/or special events.
The church has several big events, (\u201CAll-Skates\u201D) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.
Our entire staff family is called to action, so that we can continue to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, within a multi-person pod. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
This is a mostly sedentary role; however, some activity is required at times. This activity would require the ability to lift small boxes, up to 25 pounds and transport them to multiple campuses, set up tables, stack and reposition chairs and stand during special events.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws. Please see the Human Resources Ministry team if you have questions on whether you are subject to the ministerial exception.
