"Y/N-ie, do we have any schedule after the concert?" he asked.
"Nope, the concert is the last schedule for everyone, except for Jin and Namjoon" you say.
"Ok! Great! We should go to the beach and have drinks afterwards" Jungkook suggested.
After proposing the idea, only you, the maknae line, Hobi and two staff, Hana and Aera, were down for it.
After the boys had already finished getting ready for the concert that were about to start in approximately 15 minutes, some staff followed them to behind the stage. We all wished them all the best for the concert as it was probably their last one in a while.
"Goodluck jk, you'll do great as always" you say patting your best friend's back.
Jungkook turned to you and pulled you into a hug.
"Thank you y/n, i'm glad you're here" he said before pulling away.
Before you could even reply to that, you were pulled away by Hana and Aera who wanted to rush to the audience area to experience the whole concert together with the fans. Your heart was still pounding hard at his words.
There was no doubt that you had feelings for him. Hell, who wouldn't fall for Jeon Jungkook? It makes it harder that he's been your best friend for awhile now. You two have been best friends since high school, before he even even debuted. You two stayed in contact even after he debuted with your constant support and encouragement, he managed to go through the tough period. Now, you've become his personal assistant as the previous one got fired as she breached some policies. After that incident, Jungkook felt like he needed a personal assistant that he could trust. Hence, he offered you that.
Watching the boys perform on stage warms your heart. You were beyond proud to see them going all out, doing the best, performing their best, for the fans at their last concert for awhile. It was sad, even for the staff too because the journey here was one hell of a ride. You've experienced watching them from an outsider and it already looks tough on him. But when you joined the company, you saw all the behind the scenes and you cannot comprehend how hard each of them had worked to get to where they are at now. It's admirable and they truly deserve everything they have now, even more.

After the concert, the staff were already backstage to congratulate and cheer them for a successful show. When the boys came back from the stage, you along with the rest of the staff cheered them on.
The boys were smiling widely, bowing and thanking the team. Jungkook looked like he was searching someone, but when his gaze met yours, he made his way towards you to give you the biggest hug.
"You did so well, I'm so proud of you" you say.
"Thank you, thank you for being here" he said rubbing your back.
After pulling away, you congratulated the rest of the boys too. They were all pretty teary eyed. It definitely was something to be emotional about. After the overwhelming feeling, we did a group hug.

As soon as you removed your crocs to feel the sand, you felt at peace. Although it was cold, the breeze was somewhat comforting and you enjoyed it.
"Loser had to soak their feet in the sea" Jungkook said close to your ear after sneaking behind you before running.
"Yah!" you yelled and started running too.
There was no way you could overtake him, ONLY BECAUSE HE GOT A HEAD START. So you decided to trick him.
You purposely tripped and fell on the sand, yelping while holding onto your ankle. This definitely caught Jungkook's attention as he was quick to stop and run to you.
"Oh sh*t, I'm so sorry are you okay?" he asked worriedly.
Before he manages to move inspect your ankle, you got back up on your feet and ran away from him. Jungkook was shocked. He then realised that he literally fell for your trick and shook his head while laughing. This girl.
He jogged towards your giggling self at his defeated look.
"That's unfair~" he whined.
"Hey! You had a head start too! You gave me no warning and started running off" you say.
Jungkook was taken aback by how... true that was. You both went back to the rest of them who had already settled down on the picnic mat, with drinks and grapes.

"We've come so far, I feel like we owe everything and more to the fans. They're solely the reason why we're even here in the first place. I cannot imagine where we would be without them" Jimin say as they started to reminisce about their journey.
"Give some credits to yourselves. All of you have worked hard to be where you are now. Without your hard work and determination to chase your goals, you wouldn't be here. You play a huge part in your place now too. Your talent is what entice the fans to become a fan of you. Don't discredit yourself"you say.
"Thank you y/n-ie... We wouldn't be here without you guys too. I really cannot imagine us managing our time on our own and keeping track of our schedules on our own... That would be crazy" Jimin chuckled slightly.
As the boys continued to talk about the good old times and how amazing the concert was just a few hours ago, you noticed how silent Jungkook was. He was mostly just staring out at the sea, but you know he's listening.
After awhile, it was already past 1am and you all decided it was time to leave. You were walking next to Jungkook which gave you an opportunity to ask him if he's alright.
"You okay?" you ask.
"Of course" he gave his childish smile before pulling you closer by your shoulders and you two walked with his arm around your shoulder.
It wasn't surprising to anyone else in this group because it was a normal thing he always does. Even before you were just his best friend, he had always had a lot of physical contact with you.

"Goodnight everyone, rest well" Hana said before we all left the elevators to head to our own rooms.
After getting into a quick shower, you put on your most comfortable and cozy pyjamas which was a marching sweatshirt set with sweatpants. You were quick to get into bed, sliding under the warmth of the covers, but as soon as you were in bed, your mind was wide awake.
As if on time, your hotel room door bell ringed, notifying you that someone was outside your door. You got creeped out for a second because it was literally close to two am in the morning. Who on earth would be awake at this timing and what do they need from you? Your phone then dinged, letting you know that you received a text.
Jungkook: it's me
You sighed in relief before making your way to the door to open it.
"Yah, why-"
Jungkook walked in past you pulling you with him.
"What are you doing here?-" you asked.
"I like you. I really like you. And I cannot sleep because I need to let this out. I've been thinking so much and every thought that cross my mind involves you. You're always on my mind. Hell, I might even be in love with you. I'm risking a lot right now, but I need to let it out" he said.
You were speechless by his sudden confession.
He sighed, probably thinking he made a huge mistake that could possibly ruin a friendship he truly treasures because of his confession and your no reply.
"I'm sorry, I hope this doesn't-"
You don't know where you got the confidence to do the next thing you did, but you shut his nervous talking up by placing your lips on his. He was taken aback by the sudden move but smiled as soon as he processed it. He then moved you two to the bed and the rest of the night was the night he showed how much truth that held in his confession by his actions.
